Thanks for the recommendations, for me especially 'Perspective made easy' is a gem. To those really just starting out I can only encourage you to buy the book 'Pen & Ink Drawing A Simple Guide' by Alphonso Dunn. I had so many problems on self-teaching drawing and all those well regarded books by famous artists and professors didnt help a bit because they all skipped the very basics when it comes to shading, breaking down objects and working with texture. Its plain embarrasing that some random youtuber (Alphonso Dunn) does it better than all of them lol. Just saying because I searched for such a book for like two years.

Wierd method of rotating objects, it would be much easier to just use the whole circle to construct the rotation of the cube

the arcade machine made it obvious that a 6 point view would have been even cooler, that the up and down is warped looked interesting but it felt odd that the left and right wasn't effected by the fisheye view

Definitely, that first grid of 4 pt perspective is kind of difficult for the eyes. For training it's ok to know it, but to me it looks like a 2 pt perspective would of been more easy to handle and look at. I've seen you have Scott Robertson's book of drawing, let me give you a tip: There's a section in the book where it shows you different grids for various positions of a vehicle, I went and actually bought several car books from A*** and there's many images from different views which is an absolutely amazing thing, basically you are being showed the grind (the box that encompasses the car) without the photographers know it , as well as the horizon. What the photographers don't know is that they give you hundreds of positions of vehicles, the books are very cheap and awesome.

How do you do this (around 2:40) on paper?......because both the station point and vanishing points are way off my paper, they're not even on my table! I suspect geometry might help us but i never paid any attention to that stuff at school!

Colour is mentioned. Black and white done effective produces plenty of 'colour'. When you look at the b&w photography from the late 1800's and 1900's, the 'colour' in the photos are just wonderful. 'Colour' IMO, often is a distraction from a lot of 'art'. Indeed, the drawing done for us in this video would be lost on me, if it was 'coloured' in.

One of the best perspective videos. At 5:47 the two left adjoined cubes look like perfect cubes (height, width, depth are equal). How to make sure that the height is equal to depth and width, which are on a grid?

really helpful vid, one question. if I were drawing a line of telephone poles, any tips for getting the width of the poles correct? Seems to be my stumbling block. I practice with cubes however 5 cubes in row will nail the height but the width and gap between cubes is clunky.
